Fire doors function as the passive fire protection system for buildings, especially public constructions, commercial buildings, and industrial buildings. In case of fire, they go closed and confine the fire in a specific compartment for a longer time. The installation of fire doors, including door closers, must follow the safety regulations such as NFPA in the US and BS EN 1634 in the UK.

Fire door closers should close fire doors from any angle of opening and be strong enough to overpower the resistance of any latch system. In addition, they should enable the fire doors' self-closing and automatic closing. In case of a fire, this function should work effectively to contain fire and smoke.

All our door closers suitable for fire doors bear CE marks and conform to BS EN 1154 and EN 1634 standards. We have fire door closers for smaller fire doors with a leaf size of 850mm and large fire doors with a leaf size of a maximum of 1400mm. The loading capacity ranges from 40Kg to 80Kg. Most of our fire door closers are power-adjustable, ranging from EN power size 2 to 5.
